What is BEST OF MINPAKU?

BEST OF MINPAKU is an event that determines the best vacation rental in Japan, with properties from all over the country competing for the top spot. Held for the first time in 2024, this year marks the second edition of the event.

The range of entries has expanded significantly, with not only apartments and detached houses but also vacation homes, resort rentals, glamping, and campsites now being part of the mix. This year, a total of 1,092 properties have entered, reflecting the growth and vitality of the industry. The event has become a major and highly anticipated event in the industry, showcasing its dynamic growth.

In such an esteemed event, It’ ta de RETRO was nominated in the apartment category, and JAPAVISTA Hisho was nominated in the detached house category!

Showa Retro It’ ta de RETRO

It’ ta de series features a newly opened apartment-style vacation rental at the end of February 2024. Aiming to offer a unique experience that can’t be found in other vacation rentals, great attention was given to the interior and concept to create a Showa retro atmosphere!

Accommodates up to 8 guests

In a hotel room of the same size, accommodations might be limited to just 4 guests, or even if larger groups can stay, someone may end up on a rollaway bed, which can be inconvenient. However, at It’ ta de RETRO, up to 8 guests can stay comfortably, making it perfect for family trips or group vacations with friends!

The room features a charming Showa retro-style bedroom with cozy beds, as well as a traditional tatami room where you can sleep on futons. Additionally, there’s a comfortable sofa bed for a restful night’s sleep!

Convenient access to popular tourist spots like Shinsekai and Dotonbori!

It’ ta de RETRO isn’t just about the cute rooms! One of its attractions is its excellent access to popular tourist spots in Osaka!
You can easily reach Namba, home to the world-famous Dotonbori, with just one train ride. You can also take a tram to Shinsekai, where the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower stands, and enjoy the old-town atmosphere of Osaka along the way.
Of course, it’s also easy to get to other shopping destinations like Shinsaibashi and Umeda, as well as enjoy a full day at USJ (Universal Studios Japan), which you can visit from morning to night!

While smaller and rounder than a typical bath, it offers the perfect space for a solo, soothing soak. Additionally, there are two shower rooms, making it convenient for larger groups to stay without any issues.

A spacious area of 132㎡

Originally two longhouses were fully renovated into a spacious 132㎡ 4LDK detached house, capable of accommodating up to 11 guests.
The entire interior was rebuilt to ensure that everyone can move around comfortably, relax, and enjoy the stylish, easy-to-navigate space. The result is a modern and cozy environment! The house features an open kitchen, a spacious living room, a Japanese-style room, and comfortable bedrooms. Guests who have stayed so far have been extremely satisfied.
In the room with the queen bed, you’ll find a shower room and washbasin, offering a private space to unwind. The beds are all from Simmons, ensuring a great night’s sleep!
